Rainbow Radicals
On why vulnerable but outraged ‘anti-fascist victims’ feel morally entitled to kill Catholic children, arrest comedians, and shoot Evangelicals dead.
I don’t know about you, but the news-cycle these past couple of weeks has been particularly dismaying, even frightening, for me. Other profoundly distressing things are going on, of course, but I am referring to three events: the Minnesota shooting of Catholic children by a trans gun-man, the arrest of Graham Linehan at Heathrow airport for supposed hate speech tweets, and what the Governor of Utah has called the political assassination of Charlie Kirk.
The question in my mind is are these very disturbing events aberrations that come down to mad individuals in the case of the murderers, and over-zealous policing idiocy in the case of the UK, or are these events the logical outworking of DEI Rainbow ideology? This is unlikely to be a neat either/or dynamic, but the indications are, there is an obvious continuity with the discourse of queer gender ideology, its radical reformist political modes and agendas, and the actions of individuals and governments that the above three events illustrate.
As the Governor of Utah pointed out, Charlie Kirk said: “When people stop talking, that’s when you get violence.” This is not rocket-science, but it is tragically true. Kirk – love him or hate him – embodied talking to people who don’t agree with you and who don’t like you. But the extreme violence of shooting him in cold blood at a public speaking event did not come out of nowhere. This impetus to violence has been building up for a long time now because queer gender theorists have established a pattern of political activism where you do not talk to people who disagree with you. This is not an accidental feature of queer gender ideology, it is central to it.
To draw on a well-known illustration from 2021, recall the manner in which Philosophy Professor Kathleen Stock was simply shouted down and hounded out of her job at the University of Sussex for being a Gender-Critical Feminist. No reasoned discussion of different views there, rather, ‘speech’ was simply used as a weapon against a person who was not permitted to speak back. The pursuit of truth through reasoned debate was simply annulled. This shows up the connection between the queer gender linguistic power-games, and de-platforming, firing, shouting down, and group-think mobbing a DEI non-conformist individuals. For the reality is, queer gender theory uses language as a tool of violence, and does not understand ‘talking’ at all in the manner in which Kirk referred to it. This deserves a little careful unpacking.
Judith Butler’s gender theory presupposes what philosophers call anti-essentialism and anti-realism. To these seriously ridiculous academic stances – which only the most brilliant sophists can ever persuade themselves are genuinely valid – there is no meaning to objective reality, but meaning is a human poetic construction that is entirely defined by linguistic and performative usage. The bottom line, then, is language is simply a tool of social power. To classical thinking – which presupposes both essentialism and realism as the bed-rock of an intelligible cosmos and communicable truth – reducing language to power is the definition of sophistry. Such sophistry is the denial of communicable truth and the denial of political life. That is, philosophy presupposes the reasoned pursuit of truth, and politics presupposes the use of civil speech as a means of advancing the genuinely common good. Both truth and politics are denied if language is simply a tool of power. As Plato points out, sophistry reduces speech-acts to nothing but violence. And should the sophist’s violent speech acts fail to achieve the power agendas they are designed to accomplish, then speech is simply laid aside, and as Charlie Kirk pointed out, all that is left between people is the relation of violence.
On top of this ‘language as a political tool of power’ ideology, there is what Jonathan Haidt describes in The Anxious Generation as a serious alienation from reality produced by the 24/7 on-line virtuality our youth live in, which promotes the systemic mental unwellness that Byung-Chul Han describes in The Burnout Society. Our youth are trained to have no real boundaries delineating wishful self-construction fantasies from actual human, biological, and social reality. They in fact are victims of a serious social malaise. But tell them they are a victim because they are trans, or indigenous, or disabled, or in any way non-conformist and non-stereotypical, and tell them all social relations are finally relations of governance and power, and demonize anyone who disagrees with them as bigoted and oppressing fascists, and you will get the profoundly unhinged actual violence we have seen in Minnesota and Utah over the past two weeks.
Alas, our legislators have been deceived by sophistry and have put into law the victim power agendas of everything opposed to mainstream norms. Anyone who stands up for the sex-based rights of women is now committing hate crimes, anyone who does not immediately ‘affirm’ confused children and youths into irreversible sterilization and mutilation “treatments” is now guilty of illegal “conversion therapy” and “transphobia”.
When Graham Linehan advises women to punch men in the balls if they are in women’s changing rooms this is now arrestable ‘hate speech’, but somehow performing castrations and penectomies on confused young men claiming to be trans is providing gender affirming care. This is a profound inversion of commonsense, and a perfect illustration of the anti-essentialist and anti-realist denial of scientific reality (i.e., a man cannot become a woman). But it is now law: anyone who will not succumb to the forced speech of using falsely-sexed pronouns and allowing males into any female only space they want to go into is now acting illegally and will have the police force to deal with. In the name of being anti-fascist, the killer of Charlie Kirk shoots people he disagrees with. Let us see if the shooter now succeeds in becoming a Rainbow martyr and if Charlie Kirk can be used by the Democrats to illustrate the evils of gun ownership. (I am all for gun control myself, but refusing to see the manner in which this killer is aligned with Democrat ‘Hitlerite’ anti-Trump discourse, and seeking to use this death as a means of promoting a stance Kirk did not support, is obnoxious political opportunism.) And in Minnesota a profoundly disturbed young man takes out his anger and his distress about wanting to de-transition by murdering Catholic children. We must stop all this madness and violence.
The illusion that we can be whoever we want to be and that identity is simply constructed by individuals is at the core of the Radical Rainbow turn to violence. For if there is no objective meaning and if language does not communicate common truths, then all you have is the relation of power (violence) between individuals. This is the Queer Planet Rainbow Radicals are seeking to create. Here there are no imposed common norms bigger than self-definition, there are no common linguistic meanings, there are no boundaries to any constructed identity any confused person may wish to have, and anyone who gets in your way is a bigoted fascist who deserves to die.
In all of this it is legislators, institutions, and authorities that have let us down very badly. The anti-essentialist and anti-realist political poison of queer gender ideology has been taken into the power and authority centres, and the people whom power is meant to serve are being profoundly alienated by their own (queer) governments. ACON , Stonewall, George Soros, WPATH have done their work. The time has come to notice where all this Rainbow Reforming is taking us: into the darkness of madness and violence. The time has come to turn things around, back towards light, reason, and meaningful truth-concerned speech. Are there any legislators, institutional leaders, and professional authorities taking note?

You took the words right out of my mouth but made them more coherent. It’s ironic that, if I put this common sense on Facebook, I would have leftists screaming at me, as only fundamentalists can do to an apostate. Congratulations, my friend.
I thought you'd taken a step too far when you included George Soros as a promoter of gender ideology. But here it is!
